Form guide

Fleetwood

Fleetwood play in League Two, three divisions below Arsenal. Their cup run has been built on defending, and that home record is the reason this tie isn't a total formality on paper. This is also the first competitive meeting between the two clubs.

Arsenal

Arsenal beat Everton 2-0 at home on Saturday and are level on points with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League. With a league game every weekend and the Champions League as well, expect plenty of changes.

Team news

Fleetwood: Ched Evans is expected to lead the line.

Arsenal: Bukayo Saka, William Saliba and Christos Tzolis are out. Declan Rice is set to be rested, and Riccardo Calafiori is a doubt with a hip problem. Teenager Max Dowman is expected to start.

The official line-ups come out about an hour before kick-off.

What is at stake

A place in the quarter-finals. For Fleetwood, it's a night to remember either way. For Arsenal, it's about getting through without wearing out the first team. The rest of the round is in our Carabao Cup fourth round guide.
