Serie A: Roma, Inter and Lazio all level

Three clubs sit on thirteen points after five matches, with Cagliari a point behind and Milan unbeaten in fifth. Inter play Parma on Saturday, Roma go to Como on Sunday.
Serie A has produced the tightest top of any of the big leagues this season. Roma, Inter and Lazio have all played five, all won four, all drawn one, and all sit on thirteen points. Goal difference is the only thing separating them, and Roma's plus eleven puts them first.
Cagliari are fourth on twelve, a point off the lead, having won four and lost one. Milan are fifth on eleven and have not been beaten yet either. Frosinone, Juventus and Como are all on ten. Eight clubs are covered by three points.
Napoli are ninth on seven, which after five matches is not a crisis but is not what anyone had pencilled in. At the bottom, Venezia have lost all five and Genoa have taken a single point.
The weekend starts on Saturday with Genoa against Fiorentina, a match between 19th and 17th that both badly need. Inter host Parma in the afternoon, and Napoli play Frosinone in the evening — sixth against ninth, which tells its own story about how the season has gone so far.
Sunday has Roma away at Como, a side only three points behind them, and Lazio at home to Monza. Three teams level at the top going into a round like that will not all still be level on Monday morning.
